News of Insurance – Three candidates have been shortlisted for the position of Chairperson of the Nepal Insurance Authority. The recommendation committee, led by National Planning Commission Vice Chairperson Prof. Dr. Shivraj Adhikari, has submitted the names to the Council of Ministers.

Following the presentation of work plans and interviews, three candidates were selected from a shortlist of five. The recommended candidates are Sharad Ojha, Ramsharan Pudasaini, and Damodar Basoula.

The final decision will be made in today’s Cabinet meeting, scheduled for 5 PM. The appointed Chairperson will serve a four-year term. The selection is based on the highest scores obtained in the work plan presentations and interviews conducted last Saturday. The Cabinet will pick one among the three nominees to lead the Nepal Insurance Authority.
