News of Insurance – Khileendra Paudel, Deputy Chief Executive Officer (DCEO) of IME Life Insurance Company, has been honored with the Excellence Award in Financial Services and Digital Innovation 2025.

The recognition was conferred during the sixth edition of the Asian Professional Achievement Awards organized by Season Media, acknowledging Paudel’s significant contributions to financial services and digital innovation.

This award highlights his leadership and outstanding achievements in driving digital transformation within the financial services sector. Season Media has been honoring individuals who make remarkable contributions in finance and technology every year. Paudel’s recognition is also seen as a milestone that underscores the importance of digital transformation in Nepal’s insurance and financial industry.

Under his leadership, IME Life Insurance has prioritized customer-centric services and the development of digital platforms, strengthening its position as a leading player in Nepal’s insurance sector. By leveraging technology, the company has enhanced accessibility and simplified customer experience.

Speaking after receiving the award, Paudel expressed gratitude, stating, “It is a matter of great pride to be honored with the 2025 Excellence Award in Financial Services and Digital Innovation by Season Media. This achievement would not have been possible without the continuous encouragement of the IME family.”

Paudel, who previously served as CEO of IME Limited before its merger with GME, has extensive experience in remittance, payment systems, fintech, digital wallets, and cross-border transactions. He has been with IME Limited since its establishment, taking on various key responsibilities over the years.

Academically, Paudel holds an MBA in Finance from Tribhuvan University. He has also completed executive courses in Financial Management and Cross-Border Investment Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, and the Institute of Bankers Malaysia. Additionally, he has pursued professional courses in Policy Design and Financial Services from Harvard Kennedy School, USA.
