Singapore – The reinsurance community recently gathered for the much-anticipated Annual Golf Day hosted by the Singapore Reinsurers’ Association (SRA), bringing together current and past members, insurers, and brokers for a day of camaraderie, friendly competition, and valuable networking.

Held at the picturesque Tanah Merah Country Club, the event saw 64 enthusiastic golfers teeing off under perfect weather, enjoying not just the game but also engaging conversations and shared laughter. A highlight of this year’s edition was the record number of female participants, marking an important step forward in the industry’s collective journey toward inclusivity and diversity.
The day concluded with a lively networking dinner, where members reconnected with old friends, exchanged perspectives on industry developments, and forged new professional relationships in a relaxed and festive setting.

Founded in 1979, the Singapore Reinsurers’ Association (SRA) was established to promote the development of the reinsurance industry in Singapore and the wider Asia-Pacific region. Over the decades, SRA has played a vital role in fostering collaboration among industry players, advocating for best practices, and positioning Singapore as a leading reinsurance hub in the region. The Association remains committed to nurturing a diverse, inclusive, and forward-thinking community of reinsurance professionals.
With growing participation and increasing diversity, the Annual Golf Day continues to be a cherished tradition for the SRA and a testament to the strong bonds that unite the reinsurance industry in Singapore.
